Supreme Commander centres around the 'Armoured Command Unit', or ACU. These mech suits are designed to be transported through quantum gateways across the galaxy and contain all the materials and blueprints necessary to create a 37th century army from a planet's native resources in hours. All standard units except Commanders and later-summoned Support Commanders are entirely robotic in nature, and do not require a local pilot.

All units and structures belong to one of four technology tiers or 'Tech' levels. Upgrading structures and producing advanced engineers allows the player to produce higher quality units. The first tier is available at the start of the game and consists of small, relatively weak units and structures. The second tier expands a player's abilities greatly, especially in terms of base defences and shielding, and introduces upgraded versions of tier one (t1) units. The third tier level has very powerful units designed to break the defences of the most entrenched player. The fourth, "experimental" technology tiers includes massive constructions that take many resources and a lot of time to construct. These powerful units can turn the tide of battle if they are used correctly.

Supreme Commander features a varied skirmish AI. The typical Easy and Normal modes are present, but the Hard difficulty level has four different flavours. Horde AI will swarm the player with hordes of lower level units, Tech AI will upgrade its units as fast as possible and assault the player with advanced units, the Balanced AI attempts to find a balance between the two and the "Supreme AI" which decides which of the three hard strategies is best for the map. The single player campaign consists of eighteen missions, six for each faction. The player is an inexperienced Commander who plays a key role in their faction's campaign to bring the 'Infinite War' to an end. Though there are fewer campaign missions than most games, each mission can last hours. When the player accomplishes objectives, the map is expanded, sometimes doubling or tripling in size, and new challenges are revealed.

Powell is sent through six missions in the North African and European theatre and is expected to complete multiple objectives on every mission. Col. Stanley Hargrove, Powell's mission commander, sends briefings and important information on how to complete your mission every so often. Along the way Powell will frequently be helped by Allied forces, however most of the time he is on his own against the Germans.

* Lighting the Torch (November 7, 1942) takes place in and around the Algerian coastal town of Arzew, where Powell is the lone survivor of his ranger squad after an ambush. He helps secure the beaches for Operation Torch as well as rescue SAS commando Maj. Jack Grillo.

* In Scuttling the U-529 (February 12, 1943), Powell goes to Norway to scuttle the U529, and destroy a prototype Naxos radar detector, a device that would shift the balance of power in the Atlantic back to the Nazis. It should also be noted that Major Grillo meets his untimely end here, after letting Powell into the complex (he is shot by a sniper).

* In Operation Overlord (June 6-7, 1944), Powell must survive the assault on Omaha Beach, and then go with Capt. Ramsey to find paratroopers of the 101st Airborne Division and assist them in taking out a battery of Nebelwerfers outside Carentan.

* In Behind Enemy Lines (June 22, 1944), Powell goes behind enemy lines to gather intelligence on German infantry movements and gain information on the German's rumored "King Tiger Tank."

* In Day of the Tiger (August 20, 1944), Powell has to protect an Allied tank crew and steal a King Tiger, in order to seize a bridge to quicken the siege of the town of Brest, France.

* In The Return to Schmerzen (January 18, 1945), Powell must go to Fort Schmerzen and destroy it. Schmerzen (pain in German) is a mustard gas production facility that Lt. James Patterson ironically gassed in Medal of Honor (PS).

The defense readiness condition (DEFCON) is a measure of the activation and readiness level of the United States Armed Forces. It describes progressive postures for use between the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the commanders of unified commands. DEFCONs are matched to the situations of military severity. Standard peacetime protocol is DEFCON 5, descending in increasingly severe situations. DEFCON 1 represents expectation of actual imminent attack, and has never been known to have been declared.

In a national state of emergency, seven different alert conditions known as LERTCONs can be issued. They consist of five Defense Conditions and two Emergency Conditions (EMERGCONs).

Levels

DEFCON 5

This is the condition used to designate normal peacetime military readiness. An upgrade in military preparedness is typically made by the Joint Chiefs of Staff and announced by the United States Secretary of Defense.

DEFCON 4

This refers to normal, increased intelligence and the heightening of national security measures. Readiness remained at this level throughout most of the Cold War.[citation needed]

DEFCON 3

This refers to an increase to force readiness above normal. Radio call signs used by American forces change to currently-classified call signs.

DEFCON 2

This refers to a further increase in force readiness just below maximum readiness. The most notable time it was declared was during the Cuban Missile Crisis, although the declaration was limited to Strategic Air Command. It is not certain how many times this level of readiness has been reached.

DEFCON 1

This refers to maximum readiness. It is not certain whether this has ever been used, but it is reserved for imminent or ongoing attack on US military forces or US territory by a foreign military power.

Cold War

The highest alert condition the US military has been confirmed to have been at was DEFCON 2. During the Cuban Missile Crisis on 22 October 1962, Strategic Air Command (SAC) was ordered to 2 and the rest of the US military to 3. SAC remained at 2 until 15 November.[1]

For much of the Cold War, US ICBM sites were always at DEFCON 4 rather than 5.

Yom Kippur War

Higher alert conditions were also ordered during the 1973 Yom Kippur War. While the US military was technically at DEFCON 3 status during the Yom Kippur War, in certain theaters it operated under DEFCON 2 conditions as a show-of-force to repel Soviet naval vessels from entering the Bosporus Strait. For example, Pershing I missiles in West Germany were prepared for use.

Persian Gulf War

Some declassified documents suggest that DEFCON 1 was ordered and attained during the Gulf War of 1991.[1] The exact time quoted as "USCINCCENT AND ALL COMPONENTS ATTAINED DEFCON 1 AT 0925C" dated January 19, 1991.[2] (USCINCCENT = United States Commander in Chief Central Command, General Norman Schwarzkopf). This is specific to a limited geographic area and not a general DEFCON 1 for all forces.

September 11th Attacks

The third time the United States reached DEFCON 3 was during the September 11, 2001 attacks.[2]

Operations

The DEFCON level is controlled primarily by the President and the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and each DEFCON level defines specific security, activation and response scenarios for the troops in question.

Different branches of the armed forces (like the Army, Navy, Air Force) and different bases or command groups can be activated at different defense conditions.

Crysis is a science fiction first-person shooter computer game developed by German company Crytek and published by Electronic Arts, and is the first game of a planned trilogy[5]. It was released on November 13, 2007 in North America, November 15 in Australia, November 16 in Europe, November 23 in New Zealand, and November 29 in Japan. Initial NPD sales numbers were taken as a sign that the game had flopped.[6] However, during EA's Q3 2008 Earnings Conference Call, it was stated that Crysis had sold over one million copies worldwide in the fiscal quarter and that the game continues to exceed sales expectations.[7]

Crysis is based in a fictional future where an ancient alien spacecraft has been discovered deep within the Earth.[8]. The single player campaign has the player assume the role of United States Delta Force operator Jake Dunn, referred to in-game by his call sign, Nomad. Nomad is armed with various futuristic weapons and equipment, most notably a "Nano Muscle Suit" which, according to Crytek senior game designer Bernd Diemer, was inspired by the United States' Future Force Warrior 2020 program.[9] In Crysis, the player fights both North Korean and extraterrestrial enemies, in four different locations: a tropical island jungle, inside an "Ice Sphere" (consisting of the same jungle, but frozen), the alien ship itself (with a zero-gravity area) and an American aircraft carrier. Crysis uses Microsoft's new API, Direct3D 10 (DirectX 10) for graphics rendering, and includes the same editor that was used by Crytek to create the game.[10]

The live text formatting feature allows users to preview text formatting options before applying them to a document. In CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X4, users can control and edit layers independently for each page of a document. They can add independent guidelines for individual pages, and master guidelines for entire documents giving the flexibility to create layers on a page-specific basis.

With the interactive tables feature, users can create and import tables to provide a powerful, structured layout for text and graphics. They can align, resize, or edit tables and table cells to suit their designs.

Suite X4 is designed to take full advantage of the latest innovations in Windows Vista, while offering a superior graphics experience for Windows XP users. The suite integrates with Vista's desktop search capabilities directly from within the Open and Import Dialog boxes, enabling users to search for files by author, subject, file type, date, keywords, etc.

Corel's new graphics suite has the new CorelDRAW ConceptShare docker, which integrates a valuable online collaboration tool directly within user work-flow. ConceptShare lets users share their designs and ideas with colleagues or clients in real time.

The X4 suite adds support for Microsoft Office Publisher. It also offers seamless compatibility with Microsoft Word 2007, Adobe Illustrator, Creative Suite 3, Adobe Photoshop, etc.

Video DVDs

Building DVD menus is usually complicated and hard work. Experienced users can now also build their own bootable discs by importing a boot image. In addition to this you can also choose the file system you want to use for data discs and generate it directly. Supported file system options include ISO 9660 levels 1 and 2, ISO 9660 Windows (Romeo), Joliet and UDF (1.02, 1.5, 2.50, 2.60).

Backup and Restore

Several key improvements have been added to the file backup and restore functions. You can now specify the exact size of the individual backup files for multi-file backups – for example if you want to store the backup files on a hard disk instead of burning them directly. (When you burn to CD, DVD or Blu-ray you can still split files automatically to fit on each disc.) When you restore files from backups you can now choose the individual files and folders you want to restore instead of just restoring everything.

Audio CD Ripping

The audio ripping function now also includes an integrated, MP3 encoder so that you can rip directly to MP3 as well as to WMA or lossless WAV. Album and track names are automatically retrieved from the Internet database on the fly when you insert an audio CD.

Although many mods have been released as game types for Unreal Tournament such as Monster Hunt, Frag Ball, UT Soccer and more, these are the original multiplayer game types released with the game.

* Deathmatch: A classic every-man-for-himself player vs. player combat. The objective is to finish the map with the most kills, or frags.

* Team Deathmatch: Teams compete together to out-frag the opponent team.

* Capture the Flag: Classic Capture the Flag. Players compete to capture the other team's flag and return it to their base. Competitive teams must use a great deal of teamplay. Both teams must defend the base from incoming attackers and get into the other team's base, take their flag and return to base. This requires that the team protect their flag carrier very well from enemies in order to complete their objective.

* Domination: Teams compete to control various control points to earn points and win the map. Standard maps contain three control points. Control of these points can be accomplished either through occupation (physically occupying the space) or from a distance.

* Last Man Standing: Similar to Deathmatch, the objective here is to remain alive longer than your opponents, putting an emphasis on number of deaths rather than kills. Players have a set number of lives and once they run out of lives they lose and have to wait as spectators till match end.

* Assault: This game type is played with two opposing teams, one assaulting a "base" and the other defending it. The map is set up with a number of objectives which the attacking team must complete (usually in sequence) such as destroying something, entering an area, triggering a button, et cetera. The team who first attacks then defends, and attempts to defend for the entire time they attacked. If they can accomplish this, they win the map. If the team defending first assaults the base faster than the other team, they win the map. If both teams defend for the maximum amount of time the map is a tie.

* Others: There are many other game types available for Unreal Tournament, Including Bunny Tracks, Monster Hunt, Jail Break, and more.

Unreal Tournament has a fairly large selection of weapons, and many more are seen in custom maps or inserted through custom mutators. Unreal Tournament differs from other First-Person Shooter of its class, with its secondary fire mode for nearly all of the weapons, a feature which was not present in its close competitor, Quake III Arena. Typically, weapons range from melee, chainsaws, pistols, machine guns, plasma guns, missile launchers and hitscan weapons. Unreal Tournament also features a miniature nuclear weapon, called the Redeemer; a missile that causes a gigantic explosion and the shockwave of which vaporizes players instantly.

Assuming no mutators are in use, the player always spawns with two weapons, one a melee weapon, which is essentially a large pneumatic piston and the other, a semi-automatic pistol, the Enforcer, which is essentially the default non-melee weapon. As the player moves through the map, he can gather other weapons/ammunition that are scattered over various places around the map. A short list of weapons that are found in the UT ordinance are:

* Bio-Rifle, A weapon that shoots biological toxic greenish globs of goo which after a certain amount of time explode injuring anyone caught too close. The goo can be applied to walls or ceiling due to its ability to stick, thus becoming an ambush weapon, even when the player discharging the "goo" has left the area. One of the most infamous weapons in the game, it requires great practice to use it effectively. It can be quite damaging in the hands of an experienced player. The primary mode releases a succession of the toxic "goo" globs, while secondary mode can discharge one large glob directly corresponding to the length of time the player charges the weapon. This large glob can be released at the time of the players choosing.

* Chainsaw, available through the use of a mutator or as a pickup on some custom maps, the chainsaw is a powerful melee weapon. The primary fire does massive damage, and the secondary fire is a wide arcing swing that can instantly decapitate an enemy but leaves the player vulnerable to attack. If the player picked up a chainsaw, he got the message "I haven't seen one of these in 5 years", humourously referring to the Doom series' classic melee weapon.

* Enforcer, The same weapon which the player spawns with by default. The player can pick up another enforcer and use it simultaneously for dual wield. The secondary fire tilts the enforcer sideways for greater rate of fire at the cost of low accuracy.

* Flak Cannon, A classic UT weapon whose primary fire is functionally similar to a shotgun, though the pellets can bounce off walls. The secondary fire is an arcing contact grenade. The flak cannon is a deadly weapon when used at point blank range but increasingly poor at longer ranges. Players who use this weapon excessively are pejoratively called "Flak Monkeys" (though many Flak Monkeys embraced the term.)

* Impact Hammer, A melee weapon, according to the Unreal universe, that was originally used as a miner's tunneling tool. Now, it is a pneumatic crushing device that pulverizes opponents as effectively as it once shattered rock. It can also be used to do hammer jumps, which involves using the Impact Hammer to propel the player. Another function this weapon has is the ability to deflect or reflect projectiles away or back at its source, but this technique is dangerous and requires practice.

* Minigun, A classic machine gun, that adds tracer fire. One firing mode is slower, but more accurate, while the other is faster, but less accurate at a distance.

* Pulse Gun, The classic fictional weapon that produces a stream of green plasma bolts. The secondary fire fires a stream of plasma energy which the player can walk into the target with. This plasma energy stream consumes the energy clips twice as quickly and does half the damage of the plasma bolts. However it is easier to keep the stream on a close moving target than peppering them with bolts.

* Redeemer: A portable thermonuclear missile launcher. The Redeemer's missile causes a gigantic explosion, the shockwave of which vaporizes players instantly. The secondary fire launches a guided nuclear warhead which the user can pilot remotely, via an onboard camera. While guiding the missile, the user can see only the missile's point-of-view, and is thus unable to see what happens to his player. Snipers can easily trace the white smoke trail back to its source. Many snipers are also able to shoot down the missile causing it to explode on the spot. The Redeemer is clearly the 'ultimate' weapon of the game, but its drawback is that it comes with only a single shot.

* Ripper, A weapon that fires disc-shaped razor blades that can ricochet off of any surface making them deadly when used in a small enclosed area. This weapon can also be reflected upon one's self. The secondary fire fires explosive blades that explode upon impact with the first surface they hit. This weapon, like the sniper rifle, is capable of instant decapitation if a blade strikes the neck of a player. This type of hit normally circumvents any type of armour the player wears with the exception of personal shield belts, which project a forcefield around the entire player.

* Rocket Launcher. A bulky weapon with target locking capability, the rocket launcher is used heavily in UT. With a large splash radius the rockets can also injure the user as well, making this weapon most effective at medium range—at long range the travel time of the rocket in the air begins to count against it. If the user is able to keep the target inside the reticle long enough, the rockets can "lock on" and when fired, track the target, making it more useful at long range. The secondary fire launches rockets in the form of timed grenades allowing for close quartered ambushing. Either firing mode has the capability to load up to 6 rockets to launch at once, firing immediately after the sixth rocket is loaded.

* Shock Rifle, One of Unreal Tournament's most popular and distinctive instant hit weapons, this fires a concentrated beam of energy which is effective at both long and short range targets. It not only inflicts damage, but can also push players back with the force of the impact. This characteristic is particularly dangerous in arenas with low gravity or cliff edges, for example, where a small shove could send a player flying off the arena grounds, falling to his/her death. The Shock Rifle has two additional modes of fire: the secondary fire mode launches a slower moving "shock core" or ball of plasma. The third firing option is called the "Shock Combo". This is achieved by first shooting a slow-moving shock core, then piercing it with the primary shock bolt. The result is a devastating explosion at the point where the two projectiles converge. A successful combo results in a loss of four units of ammo as opposed to only two. The "Shock-Combo" is one of the most commonly used firing tactics in the game and gives the Shock Rifle a preferred status among many experienced UT players.

* Sniper Rifle, A high-power, semi-automatic, instant hit rifle, the secondary fire of which activates the sniper scope which zooms up to 8.3x magnification, allowing the player to see enemies from a very long distance. Many players have become addicted to usage of the sniper rifle due to Unreal Tournament's advent of the 'Headshot'; whenever a player can get a direct hit with an opponent's head, they will instantly die despite any armor worn. Again the only exception to this is the personal shield belt, which projects a forcefield around the entire player. Sniper Arena (where the sniper rifle is the only weapon used in the game) is one of the default mods for Unreal Tournament, and continues to be a popular format for UT gamers evidenced by persistent UT sniper online communities like Unreal Addicts. The sniper rifle is very difficult to play with in multiplayer mode, but it is even more difficult to bring down a player who has mastered this gun.

Tekken 3 maintains the same basic fighting system as its predecessors, but brings improvements, such as significantly more detailed graphics and animation, 15 new characters added to the game's roster, and faster and more fluid gameplay. Perhaps the most noticeable change in Tekken 3 is sidestepping, allowing fighters to step "into" or "out of" the background, whereas the element of depth had been largely insignificant in previous Tekken games. Jumping was toned down in Tekken 3, no longer allowing fighters to jump to extreme heights (as was present in previous games) but keeping leaps to reasonable, realistic heights which made air combat more controllable. The improved engine allowed for quick recoveries from knock-downs, more escapes from tackles and stuns, and newly-created combo throws.

Tekken 3 was the first Tekken to feature a beat 'em up minigame called Tekken Force. Tekken Force pitted the player in various stages against enemies in a side-scrolling fashion. If the player succeds in beating the whole minigame, Dr. Bosconovitch would be a playable character. This was continued in Tekken 4 and succeeded by the Devil Within minigame in Tekken 5. There is also a minigame called Tekken Ball, similar to beach volleyball, where one has to "charge" a ball (hit the ball with a powerful attack) in order to hurt the opponent.

Tekken 3 is a superb action pc game.

In actual fact, this game is one of many urban legends and hoaxes found on the internet. The only “evidence” of this game ever existing is a title screenshot easily produced in Photoshop. Then again, perhaps that’s just what the men in black coats want us to believe.

DISCLAIMER/CLARIFICATION:

The effects used in this game are commonly employed in other

games and in the industry. It does not actually induce hypnosis,

mood alteration, or cause mind control (that technology simply

does not exist). The attempts to faithfully recreate the game

as it was in 1981 are limited to notions of gameplay and general

appearance. The conspiracy elements of this recreation are for novelty

as are most of the toggles in the higher functions menu. The only

real toggles in the Higher Functions Menu are for entrainment

off/on/volume, visual interactive backgrounds on/off, subliminals,

false offkey, poltergeist functions, access code, and autonomy.

The others are for effect to shock and amaze your friends on seeing

the game IRL. For the record, the ghosts seen are also not real ghosts

(perhaps MIB constructs for plausible deniability?). Finally, please

avoid saying "POLYBIUS" three times while facing a mirror. They

monitor for that.

If you have any reservations or concerns about playing this game,

don't play. Do something else instead. Why don't you pass the time

Nomad is armed with various futuristic weapons and equipment, most notably a "Nano Muscle Suit" which, according to Crytek senior game designer Bernd Diemer, was inspired by the United States' Future Force Warrior 2020 program.[6] In Crysis, the player fights both North Korean and extraterrestrial enemies, in four different locations: a tropical island jungle, inside an "Ice Sphere" (consisting of the same jungle, but frozen), the alien ship itself (with a zero-gravity area) and an American aircraft carrier. Crysis uses Microsoft's new API, Direct3D 10 (DirectX 10) for graphics rendering, and includes the same editor that was used by Crytek to create the game.[7]

2) First, mount the .mds file in Daemon Tools. Install the game and choose to not run the game after installation has completed.

3) Copy the YASU.exe file to the path where Daemon Tools is installed. Doubleclick the YASU.exe file to start the cloaking of Daemon Tools.

4) Find the location where you installed Football Manager 2008 to. Rightclick the .exe file, and set it to run as Administrator and set compatibility

mode to Windows 2000 or Windows XP (Windows 98-mode returned an "System does not meet the system requirements"-error when starting the game)

5) It should now bypass the security check when starting the game. If not, make sure you've read this file again - it worked for me using this procedure.

Or you can use the crack, just copy the FM.exe from the crack rar to the folder that you installed the game to, then simply run the game and have fun.

Need for Speed: ProStreet will take the Need for Speed series in a new direction of gameplay. Instead of an arcade style of gameplay which has dominated the series, ProStreet will focus much more on realism and move closer to, but not into, racing simulation, and still with options to use driving assistants to make driving easier and more arcade-like. Unlike its predecessors, all racing in ProStreet will take place on closed tracks, thus making it the first game in the series not animating illegal racing behaviour, hence there will not be any police in the game. Performance tuning will take up a large part of gameplay in a way that even a small adjustment of the shape of a car's body will impact its performance. Autosculpt is back from Carbon, but with much greater detail. According to an Electronic Arts employee, there will be thousands of aftermarket upgrades, visual and performance, from real performance brands.

In ProStreet there are four different game modes, called Drag, Grip, Speed, and Drift. Drag race is simply a 1/4-mile or 1/2-mile drag race, witih the first to cross the finish line wins. In grip races, which are circuit races of different modes (normal grip, class grip, sector shootout and time attack), the player can play rough, such as ramming, smashing, or blocking the opponent in order to win the race. In the speed challenge, players must pass checkpoints with the highest possible speed, and the racer with the highest total checkpoint speed wins. In drift, players drift to emerge as the driver with the most points scored in the event.

Drag racing comes with several new features. Firstly, the racers are given a 10 second time limit to perform a burnout where they must keep their revs in a "sweet spot" for as long as possible to get maximum grip in the race. There is also the presence of the traditional "Christmas tree" drag lights, and false starts are possible. Also, unlike previous games, you have free control of your steering, and you do not tap the arrow keys to change lanes one by one.

ProStreet features next-generation graphics for a more photo-realistic feel, and more advanced physics. It will also be the first Need for Speed game to include damage modelling since 2000's Need for Speed: Porsche Unleashed. The new damage system is said to be very accurate, as a collision with any object in the game world may render a car damaged or even useless.[3]

Also, in accordance to the fact that Autosculpting any body parts will impact performance, these changes can be tested in an enclosed chamber marked as the "Wind Tunnel". Your car is placed in the Wind Tunnel and artificial winds are created, giving you your performance on the track. You can use this to tune your car to your liking.

It is the first Need For Speed since Underground I not to include 'Free Roam' And also does not include the continous storyline through the last few games (continuing on from the other)
